Anesthetic Monitoring at St.Francis Animal Hospital

Anesthetic Monitoring

What is Anesthetic Monitoring?
Anesthetic monitoring involves closely watching your pet’s vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia. This includes:

Heart rate and rhythm
Respiratory rate
Blood pressure
Oxygen and carbon dioxide levels
Body temperature

These measurements allow our veterinary team to respond immediately to any changes and adjust anesthesia or provide supportive care as needed.

State-of-the-Art Technology. Compassionate Care.

We use advanced monitoring equipment along with hands-on assessments by our trained veterinary staff. A dedicated technician is assigned to each anesthetized patient, ensuring they receive one-on-one care throughout the procedure.

Safer Procedures, Healthier Recoveries

Whether your pet is undergoing a routine spay/neuter or a more complex surgery, our meticulous approach to anesthetic monitoring minimizes risk and helps ensure a smooth recovery.

If you have questions or concerns about anesthesia for your pet, please don’t hesitate to call us at (718) 621-1629. We’re happy to walk you through every step of the process.
